Sustainable Development Alliance between Spain – Egypt 2025-2030

The Sustainable Development Alliance between Spain and Egypt is an agreement that sets out the shared challenges, priorities, and lines of action that will guide Spanish-Egyptian cooperation for sustainable development from 2025 to 2030. The Alliance strengthens the cooperative relationship between both countries and is grounded in their mutual commitment to addressing global challenges. It calls for focusing efforts on institutional strengthening, inclusive economic development, climate challenges, sustainable water management, and gender equality, with particular attention to populations in situations of greater vulnerability. It also reaffirms the central role of the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda as the common framework guiding joint action.
