The Spanish Strategy for Multilateral Sustainable Development Policy has been developed witin the mandate of Law 1/2023 on Cooperation for Sustainable Development and Global Solidarity, and is fully integrated into Spain’s Foreign Action Strategy 2025-2028 and the Spanish Cooperation Master Plan 2024-2027.
It incorporates the key elements of the Seville Commitment and the Seville Platform for Action, adopted at the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development, hosted by Spain in July 2025, as well as the main commitments outlined in the Seville Plan to Support Multilateralism.
