Spanish Cooperation in the field

The end goal of the aid administered by Spanish Cooperation is to improve the lives of millions of people. To do this, a result-based approach is applied to the planning of all policies, plans and lines of action, meaning that in each of the Country Association Framework Agreements the development results that Spanish Cooperation looks to achieve are defined in harmony with the priorities and plans of national governments and with the Master Plan. All lines of work and development results are in the MAP documents. This table presents how the guidelines are being applied and in which partner countries, only taking into account countries that signed MAPs in 2013 within the framework of the 4th Master Plan and those expected to sign up in the first months of 2014, whose documentation and negotiation processes are already well under way.
It is important to bear in mind that, following the MAP methodology, the following concerns are transversal: gender, the Environment, human rights and cultural diversity.

The end goal of the aid administered by Spanish Cooperation is to improve the lives of millions of people. In order to achieve this goal, the entire system of flows, targets, plans, policies and areas of activity is practical applied through the programmes and projects that we manage and carry out in the field. Spanish Cooperation is committed to enhancing the effectiveness of the aid it provides. A key part of this effectiveness is a level of transparency that ensures full access to information.
